TruRebelPlaya
Maryville wins easily by two touchdowns or more. We're gonna be pourin out libations to the gods, just like in the olden days after this one. I think you could put George Quarles name down with the other great offensive masters of history - Alexander the Great, Hannibal, Atilla the Hun, Norman Schwartzkopf (is that how you spell it?) anyway you get the point. The man finds the plays to win games! Besides that, I think that Maryville is a better disciplined team than central based on what I hear. Big games come down to discipline. Offense is too much to handle, defense is gonna step it up after a slow game against west. All that equals a big win for maryville.
MaryvilleRebels
Medman, I am not bad mouthing my team, its the way it has always been. Maryville has never really had a ton of talent. We have the most dedicated kids and the best coaches, but the best athletes...no. Out of the seniors this year I don't think any of them will go division 1, really I can't think of any that just pop out as great players. They are a team of good players that plays over their potential level and thats why they are good. Not because they have a ton of raw, undiciplined talent (see the Memphis teams). So once again it is talent (Central) vs. discpline (Maryville). Usually Maryville faces a team that has a lot of talent and no discipline, this is not the case with Central, Central has pretty decent discipline and they have great talent. So will Central win? Heck, I dunno, but I do know that it will be a heck of a game because I know that Maryville will come ready to play and they will be firing on all cylinders...for Ryan and because they were told at the beginning of the year that "Central was the team to beat." The Rebels were stripped of their respect that they had earned by winning a 3rd straight title and it was given to a team that hasn't won a championship. You think that made Maryville happy? I am pretty sure it didn't and I am pretty sure that they will come out mad and ready to kill some people. So we have Central who is talented and disciplines vs. Maryville who is disciplined semi-talented and angry...you decide who is gunna win, I can't! FBEmeritus
The cheap gutless talk is almost over, it is nearly time for the Red and Black Swarm to eat the team meal, have an inspired invocation, board the buses and get the normal police escort to yet another field of battle. It will be a battle. Maryville has its game face on and the task at hand in their minds. There is no objective past the fourth quarter. The hearts of champions will be again demonstrating to yet another group of un-believers it’s will and passion. It will be an honor for Central to do battle with the champs, and a gallant process to defeat the Central hoard in front of their home crowd. Maryville by 10. mhs
Go Bobctas, from an Oak Ridge Alum and former player. Maryville has gotten so arrogant ove the years, thet still aren't the programs Central and Oak Ridge are, Count the state championships pal and you may see how ignorant that statement is. Your wildcats struggled with William Blount. Can you say............ U N D E R A C H E I V E R S??????????????

2Good4u
Whats up with the flu at central? It would be a shame if the stars for central couldn`t play.I`ve heard that Cassen Jackson won`t play along with others. What`s going on,is it a case of Maryville sending seasons greeting to central in the form of the flu?"
