13AA/7AA Challenge Series

This sounds like a State Tourney before the season even starts. So is this idea going to take flight and what season would it start in if it starts?

Next Season. Both Districts should be extremely competitive. At least the 1-5 seeds.

 

I would pair them up like this.

 

Westview vs Upperman

Obion vs Smith County

Gibson vs Livingston

Dyer County vs York Institute

Crockett County vs Jackson County

Union City vs Cannon County

 

Dekalb is the odd man out and not sure what to do with them.

 

This is in no particular order, I just think these would be the most entertaining matchups.

02Wildcat - still getting through some red tape, but it looks like it will be happening.

My guess is that it would basically be considered a TSSAA Hall Of Fame game - count it in your records if you want and 50% of the gate goes to the TSSAA Hall Of Fame.

 

twhoops - you may have the right match-ups. You and the other coaches need to determine the exact match-ups.

02wildcat, we need REGULAR season seeds, what you listed was incorrect

also, i think 100% of gate money goes to the Hall of Fame TSSAA building not 50%

 

but i could be wrong

 

so if that is the case, sponsors will definitely be needed to offset costs

Hype, hype. District 5 AA is the second strongest. The substate game against Walker Valley( 5AA) was LA's most difficult in their march to the Championship. LA's last opponent was McMinn Cent. (5AA) Leave 5AA out of the mix and there won't be many good match-ups that people will be willing to drive great distances to see.
