Here is all the 2019 TN High School All Americans. This was the most AA’s TN has ever had and this was one of the toughest National Preps ever. Good post. If I was a non TCA fan I would pick Greenfield as well. Why not? They are the defending state champs with their 2 best players back and a third who is on her way to becoming a great one. TCA is much more talented than a lot of people realize. Pagoaga is a beast in the post. She can take a game over down low if she’s getting the ball. Goehring and Hannaford are both excellent post players as well. This game could go either way. I think it depends on TCA handling the press. If they handle it well, they will win. TCA has handled the press really well all year with the exception of the first Peabody game when they got into deep foul trouble. We now have the depth to sustain normal foul trouble. If Lee gets going early it’s going to be a ballgame! She finishes as well as anyone around West Tn!

GC by 15 over Peabody. Just don’t see Peabody being able to score against the next level defense GC has been playing the last few games. And GC has handled the press pretty easily the first 2 games. Greenfield by 5 over TCA. I think Greenfield has the best 2 players on the floor. That’s my opinion. But TCA has much more depth and size. It comes down to Macey Lee vs Tess Darby I think. Can either one get the other in foul trouble? You know they will be going at each other all night

but a D2 is a weak state champ...state champ over what....6-7 other teams?...play with the 50-60 public schools in their classification that don't recruit and play what gets off that yellow bus instead of what gets out of that Lexus....

I've seen her play for 6-7 years and I don't know if she would have scored 34, but she does a lot more than just score. She wasn't a 100% and several of the Greenfield people I talked to said she was on crutches yesterday at school to keep the weight off of her ankle and didn't practice. She didn't look as explosive or as aggressive on defense to me. She missed 5 of her first 6 shots and 3 of them were around the basket. I'm not knocking TCA, just giving an honest observation.

TCA definitely had something to do with us not playing good, thank you for the kind words.

A healthy Moore and Greenfield wins by 15. Both of the Darby's carried the mail for the first 3 quarters and then Moore took it over late in the 4th. I really thought the big girl on the front of the press was a pretty genius move by your Coach. I've seen Greenfield 6-7 times this year and that was a first. Hard to believe she's been playing ball for a year. 2 great games tonight at UTM. If we play Tuesday night like we did against Peabody, we'll get beat. Hopefully, Tuesday night will bring the best out of both teams. Good luck.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I saw savage play 4 times and thought she actually slowed their offense down. Ball movement was better with her on the bench. Again, I know it’s a limited sample. I think CHS might win district next year... lots of good shooters.

TCA over Greenfield is comical....Darby shuts down Lee and Howell turns the ball over a lot tonight under pressure. Posts won’t be a factor if they can’t get the ball. TCA couldnt handle Dresden without the refs help and Greenfield is a good 15 points over Dresden. I think GC and Peabody will go to the wire. Neutral floor will be a factor but GC takes the win.

He was very very big indeed. He was a year ahead of me and in the same region, plus my cousin wrestled at Mt. Juliet with him, so I got to watch him a lot. And while some of his hugeness may not have been natural, the “kid” was incredible to watch. He did things I had never seen a heavyweight do. I remember my freshman year we were at a tournament with them and Bob Jones, and the BJ heavy was #1 in Bama and a 2 time defending state champ. We were rolling with them before the finals and he asked what Hunters tendancys were and asked if he was a cradler. I told him he didn’t like to cradle, then Hunter cradles him and sticks him in the first. That was one angry bama boy. Little 103 lb me got the heck outta dodge!

Had Brainerd's #32 not been called for 4 offensive fouls I think they beat Mcminn..it was a close and good game tho feom both teams

She tore her ACL twice, first time is was the right leg, and second was left I think? She was an amazing ball player and got a lot of playing time as an underclassmen. I know Gallimore a pretty decent player quit after last season as well, because she didn't like the coaching staff. The Dresden games I went to this year were different then the ones I have been to in the past. Daddy West has always had come aparts on the bench but the son who is the head coach didn't even try to coach the girls during the games. He just yelled at the girls for making mistakes. The only reason that Dresden went to state the past couple of years IMO is that they had great players. Currently you have a former player at Bethel, one at a school in Georgia, and another at Hiawassee College. Not including several others that Could and Should have played somewhere in college. I know that the son can be a great coach but this year, he just acted like he didn't coach to the best of his abilities.

You’re a dumb a#% I’m referring to the coach. I’ve been on this website for decades and I have never once said a derogatory comment about a child that plays a game. As for the game itself, it seems that you are always complaining about the referees when this team loses. Before you start running your mouth you need to make sure you have the facts you idiot.

Interesting take when you consider that they re-did the gym, brought in a new coach, have had countless transfers into the program in just the last 3-4yrs. I believe that they also broadcast the games live online, and their website has good reporting and pics. I can only compare your program to Heritage. You guys seem wayyyyyyyyyy more buttoned up on the BBall front (admin, alumni, etc) but I think that everyone's expectations are misplaced. WH has played in the district 'Ship game in 3 of the last 4 yrs. Nothing wrong with that.

Dilfer is not at Lipscomb for the money, he already has it, he’s there for a greater purpose in his life and the life of the players, students, and community.

It's pretty evident, if you go through his posts. He may be related to the Darbys, but both the Darbys and the Moore-McNeils are all good people. Their girls work extremely hard and I wouldn't be on CoachT if I were a family member or fan trying to "divide" my own team with little remarks about my team's players or work ethics. They all compliment each other, he should be supportive "equally" of all 3 stars that they have.
