  1. NFHS is the biggest scam, another racket for TSSAA. Yeah they are their own network but TSSAA gets it cut out of it. From what I understand they charge 20000 just to install the cameras. Then they may or may not broadcast the game with no announcing. You have to subscribe for a crappy broadcast and don’t see that making much of a dent in that 20,000 already spent. Like last week we would have paid our 750.00 for live-streaming it. Think they would have made more off that w of course TSSAA getting their share of that as well. Can’t believe the number of schools that went w it. Would’ve loved to hear that sales pitch.

  2. Plenty of excitement in Bulldog Country. Thankful for the young men and the coaches on the team for giving us all a season to remember, even if we weren’t playing Friday. That being said, we are playing Friday and the best is yet to come. Been out painting the field getting it ready for these young men. Even though it was getting cold, it was a real treat for an old groundskeeper to FINALLY get to paint John Teeples Field up with my pals for semifinal action. Coalfield has some good linemen from what I’ve seen, but Clay has them beat at every skill position and most of the line from what I’ve seen. I hope the community pours out to Joe Neil Eads Stadium Friday Night for the first semi action in Celina since 1985. Y’all all enjoy your holiday tomorrow. The good Lord has blessed us all more than we even can comprehend.

  3. Something I was just sitting here thinking. Senior QB Ryan Damron will play in his 15th playoff game of his career this Friday night. That's another whole regular season and a half of football just in the playoffs alone. He's 39-14 in the regular season and 11-3 in the playoffs so far. Regardless of the outcome, Ryan is a class act and I was probably the happiest guy when I heard him and his family was coming to Paris. This Friday night I believe is going to be a special one! Big time players make big time plays! Time to shine #2! Let's get it!

  5. The best I can tell, this game is a toss-up. It may come down to who wants it more. Of course, close games like this may turn on which team makes fewer mistakes. See y’all there. By this time tomorrow, one team will be planning its trip to Chattanooga. Go Chargers!

  7. It dont matter where he coaches. GQ is a great guy and a fantastic offensive mind. He gives 110%. Love his interview in 2013 I think. "Anything is possible." I tell people all the time to take 45 minutes out of their life to watch that. Go Patriots!!

  8. using that theory, you should immediately ban radio broadcasts of high school sporting events as well. You apparently don't understand the exposure that a school can recieve. Family who live out of state or out of country can see family members play. Out of town alumni can watch their school play and increase donations. A fan at home may see a game on video and come to the game next week There are any number of reasons to keep video streaming. The loss at the gate is minimal. Your own administration needs to re read and better understand the media regulations put in place by the TSSAA. Based on last Friday against UC, they don't understand them too well.

  10. My alma mater (white County) should be very good. Boys team is loaded with talent and will most likely be at the dance as well.

  14. Their is a big difference the amount of posts that are posted when both teams are talking crap. Riverside team and fans alike know they are in a tough game this Friday guess most of the talking will b on the field by both sides

  15. You have got to be kidding me right? Please tell me that’s a joke. When I went to Smith County a few weeks ago there was someone blowing a horn in the stands non-stop the entire game. Are you saying that’s okay but when the other team has a band that does it then it should result in a penalty flag being thrown?

  16. Didn't take it disrespectable at all. Most of us Maryville posters on here knew him personally. Most of us also were shocked when he left because he had many opportunities earlier and didn't take them. He kind of led most of us to believe he had no interest being away from his family out recruiting and being tied up a hundred hours a week. I guess that's what shocked most of us when he left. All in all everyone of us wish him nothing but the best. Soon as he took the job players started jumping ship like they were on the Titanic which helped get ETSU to 3-8 more than GQ. No doubt in time he can do well there but I don't believe today's type fans will allow it.

  17. It got personal when the PA announcer talked trashed while protected by his booth and security. He should never be allowed to PA a game again. Totally classless and borderline deserving of an #### kicking.

  19. We just lost a hard fought game to the tribe 45-42. Glad you could play one of the better 1a teams around. Our girls are very strong and play high pressure d. These are good games to get us ready for region. Both Hampton and NG could beat us on any given night. Our district is one of the toughest.

  23. I will be gracing everyone with my presence in Chattanooga next Thursday-Saturday. I am very thankful to the Chattanooga Sports Authority for coordinating my arrival each day next week. It's not everyday you get graced with the presence of a true living legend for 3 full days. I have been to several matchups throughout the years of state championship magnitude. My entourage is scheduled to arrive in Chattanooga at Lovell Field at approximately 10:00 am. The state troopers will then escort my entourage to Finley Stadium at Davenport Field. I appreciate Paul Smith, Mark Reeves, Mayor Wamp, and others making sure my luxury box suite will be the right temperature and catered correctly for my arrival. When you are a living legend like I am you pay close attention to the fine details. The games next weekend will feature 18 fine clubs all aiming for the same prize. I will be available in the concourse at different times throughout the weekend for some autograph and photograph sessions. Many of the coachT posters will need to be at Finley Stadium to get a rare opportunity to breathe some of the same air a legend such as myself inhales. I will be keeping my eye on the young lads tomorrow night around the state from 36 different clubs to know who I will be viewing next week. There will be many young lads looking to achieve legend status next weekend in Chattanooga. My publicist will be contacting coaches from the winning teams tomorrow night to offer them an autograph opportunity upon their arrival at Finley Stadium next weekend. I will have my personal police escort from the premises as soon as the games are over each day so I ask that everyone stay back and don't interfere with the entrance and exit from the concourse. I will be heading to Chattanooga Airport immediately after the game and will not have time for any autographs at that time. I will be staying at The Read House next weekend, but please don't attempt to locate me there as my reservation isn't listed under my living legend name. I am looking forward to a festive atmosphere next weekend as many young lads and coaches try and achieve legend status. Always remember achieving legend status is a choice!

  24. Yeah, nice that it’ll be covered there but it’s a shame that shuts down local streaming groups that have gladly paid the $750 fee to live stream the prior three rounds.
