Slick Rick hopes Marion and SP win, but Slick Rick will be at Finley watching Temple. Temple surprised Slick Rick on how good they are. Slick Rick says Temple wins it all in 1A. South Pittsburg will win this game by 4 touchdowns.

Since you've become something like the "Kiss Of Death" to teams you jump to, how about going over to the Bledsoe/Cannon Co. thread and post something positive for Bledsoe. They need to lose this Friday.

South Pittsburg should win this game. BUT they had better get busy realize their is still a lot of football left to be played.

I heard they had a good practice yesterday (in the pouring rain) and they got to see just how bad they played Friday when they watched film. My guess is to watch stupid mistakes and lack of effort on film and seeing plays over and over had a significant impact on their mindset. They are getting back to business. Winning against Silverdale is the goal :D

Hopefully they can stay focused. The game last Friday robbed them of a lot of respect. Now they have to earn it back. Too much talent to waste. They looked like a team with no talent last week. Youth really showed.

As much as I respect Silverdale's program and coach, I believe the game Friday night is going to be another shut-out for South Pittsburgh. I saw John Allen and a side-kick at the Whitwell and Temple game and I think the only reason they did as well as they did against Whitwell was because they saw how Temple handled them. South Pittsburgh has a lot of steam after the loss Friday to Temple and they are going to take it out on Silverdale in rare style. SP will shout out loud Friday.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
