Jo Byrns vs Trousdale County

Trousdale has just run the guantlet against the 2 best defences in 1a. If Jo Byrns is to have a chance, they'll have to do it with Offence. Trousdale don't make many mistakes and they will be extremely hard to stop on offence. Their offence is VERY tricky and all their backs run with extreme determination. Jo byrns won't have the ball over 6 times and they better make the most out of every posession. Running the ball won't get it done,they better mix it up and be smart about their timing.My guess is about 35 to 7. This is not a real explosive offence for Trousdale, they just move the chains and pound you into submission.

 

I thought all year the championship game would be Trousdale and Union City,Jo Byrns fooled me and its possible you may do it again , I doubt it. Congrats and enjoy the ride. Its a ride that very few ever have the oppertunity to achieve. You guys have a great program and should be very proud.

I been waitin' for the game for a long time. we're goin' to the boro! I can't remember the last time TC lost a game but we'll see if we can end the run!

 

 

thye lost last year in the first round of the playoffs to SP. Another food for thought, every time SP/TC have played in a season, the winner has gone on to win the state title.

Just wanted to give a shout out to TC. Heck of a game last night, y'all have a heck of a D & that O just keeps grinding. If the opposing D takes a play off they look up & the scoreboard just changed. I'm not gonna predict a score or even a winner because I know absolutely nothing about JB. I will say 3 things however: 1. IF JB wins then they will definitely deserve the ball because this TC team is the real deal & a very good (1 game from great) team. 2. Good luck TC, gonna be pullin for ya. 3. Biggest bunch of crybaby, whiners, you'll ever meet. Guaranteed they'll be on here after we wax there azz in the BCB. Stop the run. I think they only threw one pass all night and that was a halfback pass that was complete near the end of the game (No idea why they felt that was necessary, guess they wanted to make it look as bad as some of their fans were predicting all week. A few of the smarter posters knew it was going to be a defensive battle) /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

 

Oneida thrived on the running game all season but TC shut it down for the most part. I wish Oneida would have passed more because they had quite a bit of success doing that (9-14 on completions). They converted most of their 3rd downs with 10-15 yard passes. So if TC had a weakness it was against the pass, although they did pick the ball of twice but those were more of desperation passes by Oneida (one being in the endzone on 4th down, and the other with about 1 minute to go in the game).

 

Oneida had a few chances, but I don't think they took enough risks. I don't know if Jo Byrns has a passing game or not but if they can use it could help them keep it closer.

 

I do think the west is stronger than the credit they are getting, in part because Collinwood (Region 5 I think) beat Harriman 47-7 in a bowl game a few weeks back and that was surprising. I know it's a bowl game, but still...over here we thought Harriman was pretty good just didn't play well at times.

 

Could be a closer game than people expect, but Trousdale runs the ball a lot and will try to wear you down. They also switch quarterbacks about every play I believe.

 

And there's this one guy who makes about every tackle for Trousdale and runs the ball, too. His last name is C, See, Cee, Cea or somethin like that Tocoa Cee or something.

 

What really cost Oneida was when Trousdale was forced to punt with about 7 minutes left in the game on 4th and 3, and Oneida jumped offsides. Their only penalty all night, but the costliest one of the game.

 

 

I think both teams were even, except Trousdale had a little more speed which allowed them to get a few long runs. So if you guys have some speed of your own on defense now would be a good time to put it to use /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

 

"STOP THE RUN" That's Genius why didn't Oneida think of that, Shocker I don't know why you are not the defensive cord. for the titans that was deep

 

and by the way along with there 6 state titles they have 3 state runner-ups trophies 73, 74, 75

 

Jo B. Yes we'll be in 2 A next year but the sad realty is We're still in 1 A for one more week.....
