Smoke some more drugs Einstein ED! SP ALWAYS plays up....Your not just special you are a rahtard....If Signal Mtn keeps growing then yeah they would be foolish to keep playing them every year....Your just a HATER and jealous because your team is cabbage whop garbage! SP has 250 students or less every year and they play 70% of their schedule against bigger schools....Why are you even here Yoda?!? This is a SP thread about Wayne County! Not about why u suck at life or how you enjoy regurgitating that crap outta your mouth! I'm curious though do you taste that shat your talking? Have you ever seen the movie 40 year old virgin!? Think about......Get another hobby

Like I said the fact of the matter is Signal Mountain is really a 3A school play in 4A because their head coach said he did want to be in 3A because he didn't want to face Alcoa(THE BIG MONSTER)every year in the playoffs. Get it right and read it In the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Sunday June 19, 2011 Vol.142,No.187.

Everybody read it! It's one thing for a team with the same size to dodge them but a school that's 250 on a good year is another....Thruth be told Signal would have beat Alcoa like a drum this year before suspensions..CAK threw all over Alcoa TWICE and they aren't nearly as potent passing as Signal and there DROID Army ....SM and Greenville was two best teams in 4A without question...

Post are getting deleted so it's time to stop kicking a dead horse and move along...I'm done with this guy...Time to get back to what matters and that's Wayne county and SP....Any news updates about if the other Allen is going to get to play? What about 10? He seemed to get shaken up...He is a good size kid...Was he hurt earlier in the year? Never saw him play until Friday

Guys I am telling you. This will not be a blowout. I hope it will be. I wish it would be a butt whooping. Is Wayne County better than Greenback, yes. Better than Coalfield, yes. Better than Gordonsville, no in my opinion. Gordonsville and Wayne County are equal to me and that is why I still say it will be close at first and then SP will pull away and be too much and win by 2 tds. Our boys our hungry. They want this back to back and they are ready to bring the wood!!!!!!! South Pittsburg is a very special place for football, you have to live here to understand our passion and tradition.

Duel-10- I think is alright and he played quite a bit this year and was a beast in the middle....and Matt-1-may try it...He is tough and would help us out.

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
