Ensworth, which has been a HS since 2002 makes the top 10 historical football programs in the state of Tennessee, and Oak Ridge doesn't? LOL OK...And Webb is even in there above us? Gimme a break! OR homer, i know, but that list is pretty shoddy to say the least.

Actually ensworth has only been playing varsity football since 2005 but their first full schedule was 2007 I think .....so you Definately have a point. They have had good teams and the past two years , really good teams , but to put them on that list ... I don't see it at all. Someone was a bit starstruck...about 20 years and 5 or 6 more state championships pre mature in my mind ..

Now don't try to spin this into a thread victory. Defense giving up 34.....problem. Farragut....no problem. Just be happy GQ took his foot off the gas and pulled the ones for the 4th quarter. It could have been a blowout of epic portions at 81 to 34 and that was realistic.

spin it into a thread victory? At least you agree there is a problem. You make it sound like I predicted Farragut to win and am trying to save myself the embarrassment of them losing. Heck, I was surprised that Farragut put up 41 for the game, 34 on the starters. I think you're making this a bigger deal than it really is.

Just replying to your pathetic attempt to take a cheap shot. Wanted to see how you responded and I found out.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
