Westmoreland played Lebanon in the spring with Bteamers and beat up on 28 and 13. Just ask um and they'll tell you. Many didn't know we had the 3 rd string in most of that scrimmage and beat that big line up pretty good too. The little dogs can run with the big dogs this year in district 9. Book it Trousdale puts a tail whip pen on the waves at the creek bank later in the year.

Unless the Wave gets multiple injuries.... it ain't gonna happen. But I am well aware of the Jacket home cookin haha. TC does not have enough horses. Plain and simple Gallatin has been overlooked this year and the coaches and players are well aware of it. The Wave will surprise people this year if they stay healthy.

We gonna give it our best shot...I think we will make a game of it...i certainly don't think ya'll are good enough to mercy rule us.

We'll know more by week 6...i'm sure by then both teams will be more tuned in.

BTW...do you know how many horses we got down here?

Rough night, short version of the game, it came down who made the least mistakes. With a couple minutes left 0-0 we return a pick for 6 about 95 yards only to have it called back for a block in the back. Westmoreland started the game with an onside kick and recovered, then later a fake punt, to me it looked like the guy was running off the field, snap, pass, complete...first down. We coughed up the ball once or twice, so did they. It was actually one of the better high school games I have seen in a while.Nail biter to the end. Their qb worked his tail off as well as #44, they are their two offensive weapons. Tough kids as well. Our kids fought to the end as well. Two evenly matched teams it appeared tonight....howd everyone else do?

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
