STARSNBARS
Maryville's going to miss one of the best offensive lineman they have had in years in Drew Curtis. No bad snaps, hard nosed, no BS, get the job done type of leader. I know the coaches at Maryville are going to miss him. 89 hit all started wif #55.....Tuffer thain a Waffull House stake....And ole Jacob Kelso will be missed two....He turned intwo a beast this seesun!!!!!!.... plumb69
The top ten: 1-7 will be all the teams in 7AAA. Everyone knows that 7AAA is the SEC of the TSSAA. 8. Pick a Shelby County team- Central, daHaven, White Station, maybe a bedroom community school like Arlington or Millington or (gasp) Brighton from Tipton County. 9 Dobyns Bennett, get one from upper east Tennessee, they have the preseason tradition. 10. Hendersonville, a stable coaching staff and four times a bridesmaid go a long way with the voters. And Murphy Fair. Maryville is not included because of three reasons: 1. The Rebels are always outranked in imaginary polls. 2. The Rebels never win fantasy games. 3. The Rebels cannot run with the big boys. The only thing worse than talking up a scrimmage is an off season thread. It's basketball season.

jammin01
does it matter maybe one of those programs will have their senior class that can get them over the hump as all the others have had to have to beat Maryville, Maryville wins with young guys old guys or whatever they have. Yes you still have to play the game but, it ALL still goes through Maryville, good luck on 2nd place, lol
SweetScience
What takes Maryville over the top is having arguably the best coaching staff in America. Kinda helps. Edited December 9, 2013 by SweetScience

FBEmeritus
The only thing that will slow Maryville down the next few years is a college AD parking a Wells Fargo Armored truck in GQ's driveway! A private fear I live with! My top 5. #1 Maryville # 2. Henderson # 3. Riverdale #4. Blackmon #5. DB
SweetScience
I honestly can't believe he hasn't left even before now, FB. With what Gus Malzahn has done at Auburn and Arky it is gonna open the door for guys like GQ I think to pursue something like that. Gus has shown that some HS football coaches are just as good as some college ones, if not a lot.
