IF Hampton and Cosby get stuck in 2A, would Unaka and Cloudland be better served just moving up to 2A?? In Region 1A, closest game would be a 2 hour drive (Hancock). Next closest would be 2 1/2 hours (Greenback). Everything else would be 3+ hours away.

 

If they moved up to 2A, we could have a region of Unaka, Cloudland, Happy Valley, Hampton, Sullivan North, North Greene, and South Greene. Almost like the old Watauga Conference of the late 90's.

 

I mean this is how I look at it from a Unaka prespective: why drive to Oneida and Greenback to get beat up when we can just go to SG or North to get beat up? Get bigger gates at home games too... Food for thought.

I don't know why yall are happy about going to 2a and taking an easy way out. Play 3a and have a little competition. I wish signal mountain would stay 3a instead of playing 4a. Reasoning for Humboldt is just drew a imagery line from MS to TN rivers between Humboldt and Peabody...Huntland is going to travel no matter if their in region 3 or region 6...Perry Co. and Columbia Acad., the same reasoning as Humboldt was used, placing them in region 5 instead of region 6.
