Last week there were 57 football playing schools listed for 1a,  now there are 59.

 

Added to the list are:

 

Memphis Middle College in the city of Memphis

 

Concord Christian in the city of Farragut 

 

 

Only 53 teams listed in 2a now that Alcoa and Goodpasture skipped out

Who knows,they may adjust the #s a tad to even things out.

 if i were to guess, i'd say they'll leave them as they are.

 

just wondering why these 2 schools weren't listed last week. pretty sure they didn't just spring up overnight. 

 

had they been listed last week, the top 2 schools in 1a would have been classified as 2a making an even 57 in each class.    no big deal either way i guess,  unless one of the 2 that had to be moved up was TC or Union City. then some might have been screaming Foul Ball on it.

It was a group effort, we sold taters & cracklin' for weeks

Yep the day before the numbers were due we had a head count. There were 401 students in the school so we took 8 of the little snots, pinned a $20 to their shirt with a note that read "If found please return to Scott High School" & sent them out into the world
