This is really puzzling, I really figured a few to get on and say they held their own looked really good against the Rams and Kees. Reality may be setting in............lol.......jk. Sp should have good backs, it is everything else that is a question mark. No line and a qb that hasn't played the position in how long?? That being said, sp will do well in 1a probably make it to the semis.

Very impressed with our young Pirate Team. They play with intensity. You can tell the difference in the character of this team compared to the last two years. Coaches have made an impact.

 

Looking forward to seeing them progress as the season plays out.

From what I heard sp won against McMinn and lost against Tyner. Heard Tyner had some Men with speed. All in all, decent first scrimmage. Cascade comes down next Friday.

We are going to be better this season, but not a lot. We have limited numbers, but the dissention among teammates that I saw the past two years seems to be gone. I agree with one of your earlier posts. I will be disappointed if we go worse than 7-3, but 8-2 is also possible. As for the semifinal comment? The east as a whole isnt strong, but I only expect maybe a quarterfinal run this season.

If you handled a McMinn county team then the Pirates will represent the east
