Speeds up for impact during the play? I sure as heck hope he doesn't slow down, wouldn't be much of a LB...Sounds to me like you're looking for something....seen 100 refs run into on plays, had the boys in TX not done the stupid stuff they did we would not even be talking about this play!

TSSAA has suspended ref, issues with his credentials. Suspended until updated and researched.

Ref bypassed the TSSAA and went to the media with the story. Made the TSSAA look bad for not having suspended the player. Retaliation.

They said the player told the ref on a proir ay that he was in his way,the ref said he was considered part of the field of play.Then watch the video.The players dad is the HC and he went ahead and suspended him,said it was avoidable.So leads me to beleive dad knows exactly what went down.The USA Today story is down in the 1A thread,the HC(his dad)talks about the incident and how he is punishing him. Isn't there always some type of fishy call when teams go play at Gallatin?  Ive played there several times in the past and there is always so type of shenanigans going on up there.

Take it for what it's worth Gallatin is a hard environment to play in and the officials never make it easier when playing at Gallatin. Never said this incident had anything to do with that. Also didn't I read that the official tried to belittle the player by asking him how long he had been playing football? Sounds like an unnessisary nonprofessional comment. Regardless this whole situation stinks and was blown out of proportion because of Texas.

Very true JCraig Gallatin is a tuff place to play. I played there many years ago.
