NCS will run for 375 yards if they play CA in the championship. Wayne County would have toasted CA as well.

Just a difference in opinion...

CA and WC would have been an awesome game. Not a blowout either way, but advantage CA.

CA has better line play than WC and would match up better with NCS's line play if ever the two meets.

Late posting and this thread is about done for, but went to game and my take was Coach Rice was learning and adjusting as the game went on and figuring out what his kids could do to move the football against a bigger, faster  more athletic defense.  he neutralized the nose guard using 3 guys sometime and stayed away from Bituli as best he could.. made great adjustments and had 2 sustained drives.  Brothers seemed to be pulling plays out of a hat just hoping his talent would make a play.  WC was overmatched but made it close with smart coaching and toughness.  hats off to #20, he gets Timex award

20 and 7 have never played on the defensive line til this year, they were both linebackers from peewee til this year. Both stepped up and did a great job using speed but both are monsters in the weight room. Up until this year they were in the backfield with 4 but they sacrificed a lot of carries to stay fresh on defense. Very unselfish group of kids that believe in their coaches and will do whatever he asks to help the team win.

Yeah, Wayne was the better coached team. Ncs- just does things that do not make sense. I'd give 12 the ball until he passed out. Then give it to 35. Wayne Co is a good disciplined tough team. Good luck next year

12 is a player, may be the best athlete I've watched all year. Bituli is good and will play at the next level but he didn't seem like his legs were under him like last year, not bashing but seemed like he might have been a little banged up coming into the game.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
