We went to a new offense and the coaches were bound and determined to make it work. And it did later in the year but it was awfully ugly and hard to watch early on. And we never did use our receivers like we should have......... Go figure.

bounder you said that so much better now than I was able to during the season. It was all the to the end before I came to grip with the fact that we really WEREN"T going to utilize a 2 QB offense.

 

 Wasn't trying to bash your QB, just using him to point out a very questionable offensive scheme given the talent at WR.

As I said, he was a WR playing QB. He just flat couldn't pass the ball. That's just me being blunt, but such a great kid, so I don't want to make it sound like I'm berating him, that's all. That eventually (not having a very competent QB) ended up being our undoing. If we get a kid in there who can pass the ball this year then watch out. We have to get some linemen 1st though! I think that'll work itself out.

That has got to be the biggest coaching staff in world history. You'd think with that many coaches they could've figured out how to be competent on defense last year. They need to hire a few more, them 60 just ain't enough.
