Told you guys you'd be ok.

Glad to see rusty do well. My upbringing won't allow me to say that for usj, but glad to see rusty do well.

And I agree on the west tn talent thing. Always been a lot of under the radar talent there.

You were right, Solomon.

USJ is playing very good ball. Coach Bradley's play calling is impressive.

USJ versus Milan in two weeks.

Anxious??

Can't wait! Should be a great game.

Milan is the gold standard in rural West Tennessee.

The Trey Smith versus Jacob Rimmer matchup alone will be worth the price of admission.

The fun thing about this game is that both teams are great at the other's weakness.

Milan historically struggles to defend the spread against top teams. USJ struggles to defend the power run game against top teams.

This game will pay off for both teams in November.

This Milan team is the real deal. Best team they have had in years. I think Morris has some unpleasant memories of CRB and would like to return the favor if you know what I mean. If he is going to do it though it better be this year. Cause CRB has that team going in the right direction and it is obvious he is building something special. Definitely should be fun!!!

Wish I could be at this game! It will be really interesting how this plays out....I think it is asking a lot for USJ to come out on top this soon, especially with this being Milan's best team in years, but the interesting thing about it is that as good as Milan is, they haven't faced this offense yet. As I've said before, not necessarily better or worse, but definitely different, particularly in the details. I could see a scenario where Milan is just too much. But I could also see a scenario where Milan trounces everyone on their schedule and yet can't win this game because it forces them to do some things that won't be the norm of what they see. On the other side, can USJ stop the power attack of Milan? Going to be a fun one to see how it turns out.

I agree with you 100%. This is the only game left on the schedule that I think we might lose. Not because USJ is more talented but because of the system and what CRB brings to the table. I really feel like this team is much better than what you guys saw in Cookeville. We still couldn't have beat those CAK teams but USJ is a different story. Will be interesting to see how this goes down.

I can honestly say that I am so glad I never have to see Arkel Coleman (sp?) again. That guy was a beast! Literally scared me every time he touched the ball.

Just watched some Milan highlights.

Was very impressed by Milan's O-line technique. Their "steps" are like what you see on a good college team.

Who is Milan's O-line coach now? Buy that man a steak.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
    • Interesting read in the fish wrap about why the baseball coach quit. No help with administrative duties. IMO Not a good look for the administration, especially the AD. What in tarnation is going on up there?
