That's a BOLD prediction there sir! If this holds true be ready to see a wild shake up in the region standings! That's the beauty of playing in Region 2 without question the toughest region in 1a!!

Shoot brother,  a blind shot.  I know Oneida has the best Middle School coach in Tennessee in Sexton.  Other than that, I know TL can coach in big games.  Either way, I have much love for the Cherokees....so many great games

Smash, GB is a different story now than when you were watching them. They've got a new school, new field house and are drawing players from as far as Alabama now. Couple that with all the home grown talent they're known for anyway they're quickly becoming a juggernaut.

I'm hoping Oneida can get a win this week, but its gonna be a tough one. I'm sure TL will bring all hes got into this game. He always does!! One thing is for sure Oneida's # 19 is no joke when it comes to running that football!!!

I don't know, if you or anyone else remembers the bruiser that Midway had around 10 years ago or so; that gave teams fits...is Oneida's #19 any comparison.

Oneida will be prepared and give it all they've got but I don't see Greenback losing until the title game. Looks like the West is loaded again.

We have a lot to improve on to even win the region pujo.Kids have to sell out on Fri nights and work hard to improve during the week.Our conditioning program HAS TO GET BETTER!No need in having all this talent if we can't put it in the endzone.Fumbles,turnovers,flags!Championship teams can't have those type issues going into game 3,the region is getting ready to kickoff and we just aren't there yet.Maybe our talent can carry us till we gel but it better be soon.       Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.

      What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.

      Athletics is just a piece. It can help them academically, socially and add confidence. I was still 17 when I finished my first quarter at UT. I was the last to get my driver's license. It's not always just for athletics.
