I think GCA is going to get Roadrunnered  . . . Wiley E. Coyote style.

I would not be surprised if GCA had a lil something for AE....But I just feel it won't be enough.

They were the fastest team we faced LAST year...Maybe one of the fastest I'd seen in some time...They're even more so this year.

I'm hearing we may be using some new plays from on the Road Runners they've never seen before.2elcv2q.jpg

Statue of Liberty, Hook & Ladder, Fumblerooski???  Or is there a plan to roll a boulder out of the stands and thru their sideline right before kickoff?  Might be the only way to slow them down.  :D

I have a hard time seeing any 2A beating a team that beat Fulton. Am I missing something here? Will AE not be the best team Grace has played this year? Or would you consider Webb, CAK, or Campbell County better?

I'm interested in how a Grace fan would rank their toughest opponents this year. If you see the above teams as better than AE then I guess this could be closer.

From the outside looking in its hard to pick a 2A team over a team that beat Fulton.

Webb easily the toughest. Speed kills

Campbell County 2nd

Jeff County 3rd

CAK 4th (had them beat)

Everybody else.....

Whoever turns it over the most loses Friday bs AE

I disagree,it will come down to who can score the most.No joking intended.AE could turn the ball over 4 or 5 times with the talent they have and still win.Its about Grace scoring with them.I don't see Grace keeping the speed from AE in check. But then again what do I know!☺ Edited by orngnblk

There is no doubt GCA can move the ball on A-E. Forget about them beating Fulton because the Falcons were pretty roughed up at that time they played and most of the teams on their schedule might have had a chance at them that night. Promise you that wouldn't have happened if Fulton were healthy. Now back to this game. I see a shootout offensively on both sides and will be a good game to watch. Last year there was no reason at all GCA should of lost that game but getting that touchdown called back with around two minutes to go really hurt. I still think GCA could of won but to much time was wasted running back and forth to the sidelines to get plays from the coaching staff and that is one of the reasons I personally wish they would use signals. Sorry coach but that is where we differ but I still enjoy your play calling and your belief in your kids to take chances others won't.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
