Did bosken run the veer at Boone? I know Cummings usually calls his own plays. Nonetheless I'm glad he's a bluerraider now, he turned bones program around so that shows he knows what it takes. Plus I'm sure his little bro pulled some strings for him haha

Bosken was at Crockett, not Boone.

He ran a no huddle spread that threw the ball around over 50% of the time.

He's a great developer of talent and a very energetic, hard working coach.  The Crockett program of 2016 looks very different in terms of athletes, swagger, and fundamentals than when he took over a few  years back.  He'll go on to do some great things.

Bosken runs a fast pace no huddle spread at Crockett it's the Tony Franklin system. He's probably gonna do a lot of the passing game. Good addition especially as a assistant where he can just focus on I e thing.

I didn't realize it was TFS they were running, but that doesn't surprise me.

He told the paper that he was going to help revamp the passing game down there as OC. He'll probably be a lot happier to be OC and have the talent and resources they have to work with.

He's a good coach.  He's very ambitious, energetic, and a top notch developer of talent at Crockett.

Anybody to get excited about?

Premature, if there is to be an opening, and while it has been rumored there is not one at this point.  A new head coach couldn't be named until after the job were properly advertised and interviews held, per Knox County School System policy.

Thanks for ththe correction, but I'm excited to have his energy and enthusiasm in our program. He definitely won't lack the talent at Cleveland.

Resignation papers were signed last week, as was posted here. I suppose some posters need confirmation from their grandsons first before believing.

Anyway, just unfortunate news all around. Coach Harig is a good HC & will have a successful future. I think Knox West has a bright future too. It's sad, but I don't think Harig ever had a chance at West because of the circumstances.

I wish Coach Harig the best in the future as well as the current coaches & players at West.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
