Man I'm impatient,  I wish week zero was here.  I hope the kids are working hard this off season.  I haven't heard much chatter around which I hope is a good thing.

Coalfield should represent the east hands down. Greenback and South Pittsburg are the only other teams in the conversation. 

As for the west? Huntington or Wayne County would be my pick. Dresden and Peabody are others to keep an eye on in 2017.

Bassy,  Peabody gone 2A.   I completely agree with your East picks though and West it's Huntingdon and WayneCo.

I must be getting old and senile. You are correct. The east and west each have 3 players for Cookeville. Anything short of a Coalfield appearance in Cookeville will be a huge underachievement for them in 2017. I believe I said the same thing in 2013 and 2014 about Coalfield and they delivered in 2014. This team is similar to the 2014 Coalfield team except the QB play is MUCH improved.
