Happy for the kid. Hope he wins it. If anyone cared to go back and read what I was Talking about you would understand. My disappointment is with the finalist. One of them is 2nd in stats to  a kid who is in his own county and the other kid was a semi finalist. The kid from TCA was first in West Tennessee in stats. He has a 4.3 GPA and has over 200 service hours. I believe That covers stats, academics and character. The kid is going to Army West Point to kick. But they choose the other kid who is behind him in stats. This is Mr. Football for 2017. Not what competition you won last summer to make the Army All American game. Noah Holsinger was chosen by coaches to kick for the west in the state all star game. You will see then.

I wasn’t necessarily referring to you. Just from what I read earlier in this thread was everyone saying it was all political award and was making the statement that if you thought that was choice was political then you were far from right.

      That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)

      Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.

      Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
