They should win the district because it’s really weak. But winning the region will be tough. I don’t see them winning a sectional game. Most of the teams on there schedule are below 500 and not very good. But next year they should have a better chance to get there.

Tellico is probably a decent team but their lack of competition will hurt them at some point in the upcoming tournaments. You need to play teams that can actually dribble the ball and have a chance to beat you so you can face adversity, that way when it comes tournament time they are used to grinding out a tough win. If you want the rest of us to see you play and respect you put us on your schedule. It’s not that far to the Cumberland Plateau. You’re driving right past Meigs County for most of your games, so no excuses for this cupcake schedule.

Yes we have had a few to have it. Our back up PG missed TCA last Monday. We have had others to have it as well. Prayers sent for healthy teams throughout state.

Oh and btw everybody,  this back and forth abt the miss basketball is gettin kinda dumb......

I can honestly say I know nothing abt the young lady from TCA but as a Summertown dad.     1) Chloe Moore is an absolute stud.  Totally took over the 2nd half of last yrs state championship against us and is well deserved if she wins it.   2) Karly Weathers may be the best player in TN (all classes) shes not averaging her pts on 30 attempts.  It's usually like 10-14 from the fld and makes everyone around her better.  

Whoever wins it,  it'll be deserved!

I'm a Karly Weathers fan, but saying she's the best player in Tennessee is a far stretch - a very good player, yes.....

I can assure you karly is not the best player in Tennessee as a freshman. Now she may become the best player down the road, don’t get to carried away. It’s a different brand of ball in AAA. She would have a hard time starting for some of those premier AAA teams.

I would still take Chloe Moore or Tess Darby at this point.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
