That is the way it is in every sport. If you don't adjust you getting holding or pass interference in football, you foul out in basketball, or you strike out in baseball. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO TEACH YOU ABOUT LIFE SKILLS AS WELL, YOU MUST OVER COME ALL OBSTICLES... ADJUST AND WIN OR BE STUBBORN AND LOSE... I understand that! But that don’t make the officials right either! Edited December 26, 2018 by Tez2319

Very important for both teams to keep the hands off the offense because some times you get away with it and some times you don't. I think both are pretty disciplined at playing quality defense. Both can play good defense without using their hands on the offense. But refs can be a thorn I agree you just have to adjust he way it is being called. Adjusting to the way the game is being called sometime is an art in itself. Especially when after half the officials come out and start calling everything. I am not going get on my need better refs kick because it just doesn't solve problems that certain schools have at certain places and it doesn't weed out the poor officials because they are right back next season along with another one or four phoning it in and picking up a check. But adjusting to the way its called can be difficult when you are scratching your head as to what the heck just happened. Saw call in a Christmas Classic where a rebound hit the floor, young lady reaches to the floor with no one around her, picks up the ball and scorers on a bank shot 4 feet from the goal. A ref blows whistle and calls foul for reaching. Coach, crowd, player, other refs all in a collective group say " HUH". Ref runs to other end and will not move , other officials look at her, coach is asking what just happened. How do you adjust to that ? South Green has the easiest path IMO. Meigs will more than likely have to face Macon, Cumberland County or Upperman in substate. Meigs better figure out a way to beat McMinn Central first. Meigs clearly let the game a McMinn Central get away from them in the second half at the Roundhouse.

Meigs girls were fouled several times and it was not called. Meigs had 4 girls foul out. But Central won the game, we will see how it goes in a couple weeks when Central comes to Meigs. Officiating is the officiating. We both get the same 6 or 7 referees. It is what it is. Meigs just seem to lose focus in the second half after McMinn Central picked up the defensive pressure and when the tide turned, Meigs just did not have an answer. No doubt it will be tougher for Central at Meigs. Seems like Morgan got into Coach Powell's head a little especially at Central. Be a huge test in Decatur for both teams. Always fun to watch a game a Meigs.

I am from West Tn! You may want to add Chester Co & Lexington in the hunt. I think Crockett Co may be the best in the West, but Westview has a mental block on Crockett Co! If they believe they can beat Westview they will, Crockett Co has a much better team than Westview this year! I haven’t seen many teams from East or middle Tn. I know East Nashville is still good but their schedule is very weak I heard. I know Cumberland still has Dishman! Upperman has Levy little sister! This should be a tough year in AA
BearcatDad
I still think Cheatham County will be in the hunt. They beat Upperman earlier this year and got Creekwood by 30. Cumberland County beat Creekwood by 4 tonight. We have East and Maplewood coming up, along with another game with Upperman.

Hopefully, the Gibson County Lady Pioneers can get a win against WV tomorrow night. Should be a good game in their house.
