Sorry Croz, didn't see you already started one, this game could be really close but after last night I think our boys will be in a bad mood come Friday night and if we don't make the big mistakes we will be fine, both games we have lost and even the Friendship game, we have made mistakes at the wrong times that have killed us, it's ok to make a mistake early in the game, you don't want any mistakes but if you have them you want them early so you can overcome it, last night we were up 21-7 with 7 min to go and we put the ball on the ground and gave Watertown the ball inside our 30 you can't do that at that point of the game, the Lebanon game we scored on a TD pass to get it called back for a hold(which may or may not have happened), we have a great group of kids we just have to limit the mistakes at the biggest moment of the game.

I figured I would do my part to help TC move on from the Watertown loss. ;)

I imagine that most will look at our common opponent and assume TC will mercy rule Gville, but I think it will be closer than most think.

I see it being a good close game as well. Gordonsville is always tough!!!

Trousdale County has been a beast against the run through 3 games against 3 very good teams. They have given up a handful of longer runs but other than that its been nothing but 0-2 yard gains.

Gordonsville will want to run the ball with their stud back.

TC has played 3 tough games against Lebanon, Friendship and Watertown teams that are all gonna end up with 7-8+ wins and in the playoffs.

Gordy has played Watertown (lost by 40), Smith County (won by 8) and RBS (won 44-14).

I've seen 5 of those 6 games above. I didn't see Watertown vs Gordy. But Watertown only beat TC by 1 point. And I don't think that Smith Co or RBS would even be able to score against TC.

I don't think this will be close unless TC makes a bunch of mistakes.

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
