Whitahevn Memorial Stadium is turf and those Fairley guys will absolutely FLY on this fast track of a field. Does UC play on grass or turf?

It looked like to me in the Gibson game that the Pioneers moved the ball decently against this stout defense but I did not see all of it.  Turnovers were the issue with GC.  I thought fairly up front looked strong and fast and did a good job getting in the gaps.  If our line gets their assignments correct and we hold on to football you will see lots of FB up the middle tonight for 3-4 yards that is if Fairly keeps the same scheme in place they had last week. 30 plus carries for him tonight is my call.

You are going on the road and your support will be spread out tonight with no band and fewer fans I'm the stands than normal. YOU GOTTA SUCK IT UP AND PLAY LIKE MEN. Fairley is waiting on you. They believe they can win. They think they have you in their pocket. The truth is they think that you don't belong on the same field as them. So come out and STEP ON THE GAS AND NEVER LET UP. Gibson moved the ball consistently on them all night, but it was hard earned yards. They delivered some big hits on our guys too. I think Union City can and will move the ball on them, they need to sustain long drives. Union City needs to have its time of possession around 35 minutes. 

Union City MUST take care of the ball!!!! Fairley will try to strip the ball any chance they get and will even sacrifice giving up another 10 yards in an attempt at stripping the football.

I think this will be a relatively low scoring game.

My prediction...

Union City - 21

Fairley - 14

Yeah we will be knocking on the door of the freezing mark by the end of the game. Just remember...... that Purple and Gold cowbell is already in Florida. I liked that idea. I am wishing Peabody good luck as well. I'm neutral here as well. Honestly I hope it's a long and hard fought defensive struggle for both teams, because I'm hoping to be playing one of y'all next week.
