Safe Travels everyone!  Going to be exciting tomorrow!

As I have said many times this year - THIS GREENEVILLE TEAM IS NOT FINISHED!!   BIG GREENE WILL LEAVE NO DOUBT & NOT STOP until Championship mission is completed in Cookeville!

HEY GREENE! HEY GREENE!  I say skinning a tomcat makes the Cookeville turf grow, skinning a tomcat makes the Cookeville turf grow!  What makes the Cookeville turf grow; a skinned tomcat!!  1,2,3,4 here we go Big Greene!

of course I'm for Greenville, but that is one of the best score options for a Haywood win. There would have to be GHS turnovers for the Devils to lose and HC to score 28. Hopefully the fact GHS has only turned the ball over in twice in 14 games will continue.

Im pulling for Haywood but if they want to get the win in this one I think this is the most realistic type of score. Something along those lines.

Can someone post the Haywood news article about this game? I dont want to pay for one read lol

If the online news source  can't give their local fans a free look at their frigging team playing for a state championship,so maybe they would pay the 5 dollars in the future.I sure as crap don't care  what their opinions are over here in east TN.We will all know in less then a day.

Wish my Jackets were there tomorrow, but congrats to the two teams that are. I don’t think Haywood knows what they are about to face. You can watch film all day long but seeing Greeneville in person is different. This year’s Greeneville team is way better then the one that beat Springfield last year. This Greeneville team may be the best in the state regardless of classification.

Greeneville’s offense will be the most balanced that the Tomcats have faced this season. I think Haywood has a chance to keep it close longer than most, but Greeneville will just keep coming. I think the Devils’ defense will contain the run enough to force Haywood to throw more than they want. I also think that since this is this group of seniors last game, that Greeneville will keep their foot on the gas for the majority of the game. I think the Devils win 42-14.

It’s pretty rich that a prediction for a lopsided devil win is just good ole fashioned rootin’ for your team but a prediction for a lopsided tomcat win is “stupidity”. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the Greeneville village idiot is a self proclaimed expert on what constitutes stupidity

im just glad you recognize devilman as our vilage idiot...........and not me.....

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
