It will never happen at Nissan... as someone mentioned earlier no field turf. I agree with BCB... the size of the Tech is perfect. Tech, Middle or Vandy... we don't care. Like my boy Ulysses

i think this shows just how close the top 5-6 teams in 2A were this year. Peabody is definitely the best, but i think any of the three teams from the east would have given them a game. The same thing

What kind of mess is this? I looked in my Murphy Fair book and that doctor coach Clint man won five championships and that creasy man won three.  That is not equal ten championships.  You think im joking but im not.

Roy that doctor mans daddy ole Jim B Satt, the original Coach Satt, got himself a gold ball way back in ‘72. That’s probably about the time you was knocking heads on the phooseball field yourself. Then we in TC claim a title from ‘22 but that’s not recognized by anyone else. I don’t have the specifics of that season. Do your numbers add up now or does Snoball and Mrs. baxie need to come edamacate cha some more?!

I garuntee I looked over that 72 championship.  If Murphy doesnt recognize that 22 championship.  That is 9 championships then.  If this Waggoner man can win that will be ten.  Snoballs and ms baxie better train those boys this week on side body blocks.  You think im joking but im not.

Back in '22 they didn't play in front of scouts for gold balls, I think they played in front of prospective employers for job opportunities!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
