Peabody @ Union City

From this point forward, Peabody must prepare every week as if they’re playing in the playoffs. It is critical that come the end of October they’re playing their best football & rolling into November. It’s their’s to lose from this point on. I’m interested to see if this senior class steps up & takes control through the rest of the season & doesn’t allow slip ups like the 2017 (McKenzie) & 2018 (Gibson County) seasons.

Im going to chime in here. After hearing from my son and a couple of other players, the only thing I can say is that our guys know the task that is before them. They are saying that they are going to fight to the very end. I like hearing that they are not going roll over and play dead. We will have to play a perfect game and also get a little help. One way to make everyone forget about the last couple of weeks.....beat the Tide. Easier said than done. Either way, praying for an injury free close, hard fought game.

We know you guys aren’t going to lay down. I don’t think anyone is expecting that to happen .

Alright Tornadoes. It is GAME DAY. TIME TO BUCKLE UP AND ROCK SOME HEADS. Peabody is coming to town. The Tide men are on a roll. No doubt they are the best team you will play all year. Let's do one thing, if nothing else, MAKE THEM REMEMBER FOREVER, THE NIGHT THEY PLAYED THE TORNADOES. You have to keep penalties to a minimum. PLAY WITH ALL YOUR HEART. WE MUST COMPETE PLAY PHYSICAL AND HAVE NO FUMBLES. GO TORNADOES

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
