This place has a bunch of goofs from both sides. One is the as bad as the other. I Personally don’t care what any other team got this season. However, this current SP team is a home grown group that has been together for years. I’m so sick of hearing it from both sides. I’ve been a long time reader here but I’ve recently started to post. Name calling in here like a bunch of Democrats. The facts in this arguing are Greenback got a bunch of stud transfer starters this season. SP also got several transfers but most of them are younger kids and don’t start. Guess what? None of it matters because around Thanksgiving these two are going to lay it all on the line. Someone is going to lose and someone is going to win. The next day Lord willing the sun will come up again.

Crying always come from those caught.  Old Pirate & several others simply brings GB the attention they so desperately yearly seek. Fellers, if you don’t like the attention, don’t orchestrate it. Point here, learn studding, so you don’t have to constantly have to have orchestration. Whitwell is an example of what happens when a 1A school loses the best large senior class in school history without orchestration.

I knew this had gotten heated, but WOW!.. Democrats!!! Them's feudin' words if ever spoken!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
