Again my thoughts on the game.  Huntland played inspired ball.  They just didn't have the horses up front to keep up with the Mustangs for 4 quarters.  Plus their lack of a passing attack kept them on

For the Record, Huntington never subbed! Huntland also had 154 yards passing 6-8 and 100 yards rushing.

Something I want to bring to the attention of Huntland fans that happened after the game when the teams were shaking hands. At the end of the Mustang line 15 or 20 little Mustang fans worked their way

The playoff game against West Carrol,Snyder went off passing the ball.And if you go back and read an old thread.May have been when LC played South Fulton.Or maybe Greenfield.One of their posters said he was basing his posts on last year.Said it was no comparison to last  years team

We talked to some Huntland fans last night  they were saying SP has several job openings every year for certain parents of good football players. Roy tell me this is not true.......!

I hope you all come, coach sits Snyder and Tubbs and just lets younger Puckett handle the qb spot and see how it goes. Or just start them and run basic plays .Not show anything.But I think I have an idea of what he has planned against Hunt if they meet each other.And I think Hunt will show things they haven't done before,like throw the ball early to try to get LC in a different mindset and then Hunt go to the running game.Going to be a chess match if they meet.

You say that, but that would be super out of character for Swenson. His philosophy has always been to do what we do well over and over again. If you can stop it, good for you.

All good, man. Huntingdon started slow, but ended up handling business well in the 2nd half. I think it was probably some due to the long drive and some of it was not wanting to show too much knowing half of the state would have eyes and ears on this game as it was the only playoff game played last night.

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
