If the TSSAA is consistent,doubt the kid would be eligible. Ruling of my kid being ineligible was that he was not a Hampton student until the 1st day he attended school there.  He had transferred months before that. Said he had followed a coach that was not there until after he had transferred.  Coach was there at the start of football practice in July, kid didn't attend school until middle of August or the 1st day of the school year.
