Yeah, this thread just got awfully quiet. I’ve been sitting back watching a lot of the posts on here from naysayers saying football would be cancelled. I remember back when this thread started I said Football WOULD be played. Chalk that up as a W, and more importantly a win for the players especially the Seniors. They deserve to have their season. With that being said, Go Bobcats!

I'm glad for the players and I'm ready for football no doubt. Just hope it was the best decision for everyone involved. I just saw a little about it but did I see right where season would start on time? Practice to start immediately?

Just because it starts does not mean it will finish. Look at what is going on in baseball with the Marlins. The way the cases are rising in my area I cannot see anyway that some school will not have to cancel or forfeit games.

Now every single county and district that said "You can't play football in red or yellow" gets to call a bunch of meetings and change their policy... or will they?  It's on school boards now.

As soon as the executive order is signed, practice can begin...per Bernard Childress moments ago. Full season ready to roll. Fantastic news. Maximum safety measures in tact so it’s a well thought out decision in every way.

I'm excited about football and for all the young men, especially senior players getting a chance . Hindsight they say is 20-20 and nomatter what our personal thoughts about how the schools open,we will all know by September how smart our local school systems are ........

All the Marlins guys will be just fine and they will be back playing next week. No reason to start stoking the fire and reverting back to all that negativity. Move on. Relax. Enjoy life. Think positively and optimistically. We’re fine.

They got it is a fact. You have no idea if all will be fine right now. Case and point is it happened. Talk to a few that have had it and ask them all the everything will be ok does not amount to anything if you are trying to breathe
