Theyre AAA..We played em last year, and have played both them and C.Gap quite often

And still an hour and a half drive. Living in the sticks comes at a price. We’re an hour or more from all our region games. A couple are 2 hours as well. The way I see it if there’s a lot of schools close by then there a lot of people to. I’m good with a little travel lol.

How many is you looking to become stowaways after the Warriors get “STORM STRUCK” in The Speedway? Just sayin...... “ALL ABOARD”!  OPWOAO

Never know....... my question is will Vic keep the starters in if it's a runaway like he did with Grundy? Is he trying to set a new scoring record?

Id say its the same word you would get from them...we gotta stay healthy. We have about 6-8 that can really play and about 4-5 more that fill out the starting 11. Not real deep after the first 14-15 at all. We are big up front and return some good skill kids.

What do you know about the Landers that you would tell me? lol

Hard nosed ,tough like usual, young in the line, several good skill players. Like you said, very little depth.

I guess thats why we have to rebuild every year subs never get any experience. On second thought, 150 to 14 over your 2A team last 3 years might indicate otherwise.

Old Pirate says the Pirate starters need a HEEP of work. Ain’t going to git it standing on the sideline. Perhaps The Captain will, perhaps The Captain won’t.  OP ain’t sure but it appears a HEEP of younger players have seen playing time.

Can't argue with that. I guess we get what we dished out at times. MC is the original bully of the valley but it appears you boys have that title now.

    • Actually that young kid was in an offense that loved to throw the ball I believe.    Biggest problem for MC is if the coaching staff can figure out which mouths to feed at the appropriate time.
    • Have you ever been in education (administration) or a head coach? You’re responsible for all aspects of your program. If you were not checking the kids information correctly and left it up to someone else and they mess up. You’re held liable because it’s a failure on supervision, implementation of TSSAA eligibility and your school’s eligibility. Remember the wording in the article for him “CONTRACT NOT RENEWED” coaches are on a year to year contract and don’t sign the contract again until July. Do I believe he still should’ve been let go? Yes because you’re responsible for the total program and should be aware of everything going on. Do I believe he knew about the grade changes? No and that’s because nobody brought his name up until things got really bad and there is no indication with any paperwork showing he did. It’s just word of mouth from a teacher trying to cover herself.
    • TSSAA won't ever issue a death penalty, worst case scenario would be a post-season penalty that makes Clinton ineligible for the playoffs for a year or two (I believe 3 years is the most I have ever seen).  But TSSAA only does that in extremely rare circumstances.
    • I just want to echo that sentiment. Coach Woodmore is a good man and he is going to do things the right way and expect these kids to do things the right way. He will help grow them into fine young men. The wins will follow. I think Bolivar hit a home run.
