McRae was great, no doubt. You don’t get picked in the 1st round if you aren’t great. He didn’t really stand out to me in HS though, but I was kinda young. Richard could’ve been an animal, but for whatever reason wasn’t very aggressive on the field. He just didn’t have that mindset out there.

Apart from CM though, that’s where the comparisons stop between players among the 2 schools. I’ll be waiting for you to bring up slow a$& Larry Seivers though. Those 2 are Clinton’s claim to fame. He did get drafted though, but we both know he’d be lucky to be a water boy in today’s game. Just being honest. Was good in his day though.

Not as hard as I laughed at Clinton’s team when I saw them. I’ve seen middle school teams bigger, faster and better than that group of misfits

Oak Ridge will play hard and be very well coached. But Summit is legit, and also very well coached for the most part. There’s other players that can hurt you too, if you only key on Wade(s). I’ll take Summit by two scores.

So was Knox West and South Doyle. I don't have a dog in the fight, have a high opinion of both coaches, but if you represent East TN in the 5A title game, you were in some scrapes
