blazer1set
On gofan it looks like they are selling individual game tickets, in days gone by you bought one ticket for the entire day and you could come and go in between games. Anybody know if they are doing it the same way this year?
HTV
One ticket gets you in one game. They are clearing the stadium after every game and allegedly sanitizing the stadium.

chs1984
I imagine they are clearing the stadium this year to help with crowd control. They tried that year’s ago at the Georgia state basketball championships, and it was a disaster. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but when Tennessee first moved the finals to Vandy in 1982 didn’t they clear the stadium then for a few years? So I'll just go to the 5A game this year. Oh Well!

I have been told that the TSSAA receives a guaranteed payout from the city of Cookeville/Putnam County. The football state championship series was bid out and the city of Cookeville/Putnam County was selected due to having the best financial package. At the last board of control meeting in November, Cookeville came with their hat in their hand begging out of the guarantee ($250.000). What was agreed to was that the ticket cost would be divided like playoff tickets are; half of ticket price goes to TSSAA and the other half is divided between the two schools. Tech keeps the concession money, and Cookeville gets the parking money.

nolesfan
TSSAA is/has always been money hungry. GA allows all coaches who have their membership cards, (including retired ones) to enter ANY high school game (any sport) for free. No way TSSAA would EVER do that! I started coaching in 1973 in Savannah, Ga. and that policy was in place then and still remains today. Don't think they are sanitizing the seating area's, but concessions stand, dressing rooms and restrooms. Could be wrong!
