Not that it has to be, but it's all cool with me.  I'm just glad we found a game, and I'm glad it's with a team that Coach Smith has some familiarity with.  I hope we'll be ready. We should be.

It hasn't been an easy schedule to fill... the same people who want you to play Oakland want to howl when you don't finish unbeaten, lol

I know it.  I'm not worried about finishing unbeaten.  I'm worried about being ready for the playoffs.  I was hoping we would get a tough game, but I definitely wasn't wanting a game against Oakland.

Looking at the teams that will more than likely be in the playoffs in the West part of the 4A bracket it will be smart for us all to have tough competition during the season. Our region will have to see the Memphis teams in the first couple of rounds and to be honest I think Ridgeway will present a stiff challenge for our region.  If we have a team from our region blessed to make it to the semis Lexington, Hardin Co., Pearl Cohn, Marshall Co. or Tullahoma will more than likely be there. Tough row to hoe. We will definitely need to all be prepared.

Then who ever comes out of the West will have a tough row agains the team coming out of the East (Betsy, Greeneville, South Doyle, or AC).  4a got better after the last classification round!  Good Luck this year BPM, hope to see you in Chatt.

TOUGH is the word. Gonna be a lot tougher with the addition of Marshall Co. And Tullahoma!

Listen I think you took what I said out of context. If I came across snarky that definitely wasn’t my intention and I apologize for that. I just meant I have always been a die hard Milan fan so what you were saying made no sense to me. Now that you have explained it makes perfect sense. Again my apologies for coming across the wrong way.

He also cross dresses......  The last time I saw him he call me maam..... I was confused. Take his word with a grain of sand.... His name should be big purple powder puff!

I got a chance to see the TOMCATS in the weight room. They look real focus. We have some key players coming back.

Coach Decker was an assistant coach at Dyersburg for eight years prior to becoming the head coach at Obion Central, and he was the defensive coordinator at the time he left the Trojans.  I have no idea about Coach Decker's future plans.

Anything I’ve heard about decker is good stuff.

I no longer have any inside connections with the Tomcats, but I know we have some good players returning, and I'm hearing some good things about the rookies.  Glad to hear the Cats are focused.  They'll definitely have to be focused to compete in this region.

I'm going to remove Cordova from the schedule that I posted last night based on Cordova's schedule on Coach T and on the TNFCA website.  There's no indication of a game between the Wolves and the Cats on those two sites.  I guess we need to wait until something official is announced.

Keep posting.  We need some more Haywood fans getting active on this thread.  Once a Tomcat, always a Tomcat!

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
