Most impressive stat about Coach Grider to me? Missed the playoffs a grand total of one time in 22 seasons.

whether your a fan or not of him that is impressive feet alone.

He always had his team well prepared and the boys played hard for him. At times I didn’t understand some of his calls in big games but everyone has their opinions. It’s much different standing on sidelines when pressure is on and everybody yelling vs sitting high in stands where you can see entire field or watching TV. The players I know respected him and as long as he built them into fine young men on and off the field then that’s all you can ask for.
