I'll have to check and see but I think that we have only played opponents from 3 states other than Tennessee.  We've played teams from Alabama, Kentucky and Georgia.  It looks like that's going to change some this season.

Murphy coach is the all time winningest coach in NC. Here you a good article from 2018. Murphy is about to be no more. They are building a new school and combining schools.

I heard they only had about 33 kids out this past year and 12 or 13 were Srs.Wonder if they will be considered a "Powerhouse" anymore?

They only lost one game to Robbinsville this year.The SMC is a really good conference. Their 1st playoff game is tonight against Thomas Jefferson Academy. TJA has this kid. Might be able to watch online.

Their current roster shows 53 kids and 1 lineman committed to Florida. Glad he is a senior.

Yeah I think I’ll try to watch it too.  Regardless if they are down after this spring season, I’m sure they will reload enough.

Marion talked major crap in 2014 prior to the championship game. I don’t know how many times I read something about how the ztrain was coming. Every team peabody played in the playoffs that year was better than marion. The Peabody people told them we had speed and they said we were full of crap.  Marion players looked like they were in slow motion haha
