Lord help! You Jasper people need to put up or shut up - and at this point it is shut up! If y'all can find the courage to play, and then actually beat SP, you might earn the right to troll them (I think you need about 10 wins just to tie the series). If Vic heads into the sunset to grab a second pension from another state, he will be in good company - that list is long and distinguished.

Somebody mentioned playing against KC, those were tough years for SP - his Jasper and BP teams were hard on SP.

Will the lineman be better than last years are about the same. And is Kelly finally going to be the work horse.

I’m not really sure who specifically they have coming back. SP has lost several linemen the past few years. I always pay attention to the starting lineups to see how many are seniors. According to last year’s roster they have close to 20 rising seniors as well. I don’t expect SP to be quite as good, but still pretty solid.  I also would expect Kelly is definitely the workhorse going into his senior year.

I know they have got young skill players just wondering if the line can help out. South Pittsburgh like Alabama, they finally got a (All State) kicker. That’s been a long time?

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
