Maybe Tech will allow fans. Maybe that’s the reason for the move. Besides Tech is more centrally located and a better venue overall.

Exactly. TSSAA caters to the East. Play the games in Martin or at the civic center in Jackson and see how East Tn fans react.

I would love to use UT Martin or even University of Memphis or the Oman Arean in Jackson! TSAA definitely caters to Middle & East! Never once have thought about West Tn! It should alternate each y

That would be great if they allow fans. I don’t have a problem with it being in Cookeville. Nice town and been there many times.

More Centrally located for who? Not West Tn so speak for yourself! MTSU is 2 hours from me in Jackson Tn, Tech is 3 hours & 10 minutes away! Maybe a better venue but how about East & Middle Tennessee come play in Memphis! Why do West Tn allows have to travel?

I think he means Cookeville is pretty much the middle of the state. It would be the same for teams for Memphis as it would be for teams coming from Mountain City area.

MTSU always has thousands of high school fans for the state tournament. Tennessee Tech would be packed since there are a lot of teams near Tech that have a good chance of going. White Co both teams, Stone girls, both Upperman teams, Macon girls, both Clay teams, both Pickett teams, Clarkrange girls, both York teams.

Of course you like it! You missed the point of MTSU being a central location of far west & far east of Tennessee! It’s called middle Tn because it’s in the middle of the entire state

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
