If Tyner can get a W tonight that would def carry some big mo for them heading into round 2. They have the cats to get to Chattanooga but just not consistent. Either way they should be a handful next season. I’m just keeping it real

But you’re usually really wrong, but I agree with you on this post!

What is this petition? I have not heard anything about it

Every program has its bumps in the road and obnoxious and intimidating fans. I do feel like there needs to be a more forceful presence at the fence at games. Escort a few of these men out of the stadium and that will set the tone. When players see adults can get by acting like fools, they follow.

Nailed it!  After last Friday night, I can say 100% with out a doubt, the way some of the TC faithful was allowed to act toward the WHS football players, was the most disrespectful thing I have ever witnessed in over 30 years of following or coaching high school football.  And I will follow up again with the security guards, which is even worse that I have found be admission by a TC poster that these "security guards" are exactly officers as well (with some who have kids that play).  Then on top of that another TC poster directs all to see on here to an incident where a mascot gets assaulted after a game that TC apparently lost.  Don't want any part of that type atmosphere or surroundings for my son or family what so ever!  I don't care if a Gold Ball is won every year.  Disgusting at best.

Not the main reason I’m stepping away, i have a stronger passion than radio that has been calling my name since I graduated high school, and this past summer I dove into an opportunity to chase a dream and enrolled as a 26 yr old college Freshman, and that dream is very obtainable but unfortunately to accomplish that dream I need my Friday nights back, I will still pay attention on here and will still go to some games, not just TC games. Me and my wife are also looking forward to starting a family(lord willing). To anyone else out there on these boards, it’s never to late to chase you dream and every dream is worth chasing! I’ll still be on here frequently for the rest of the season, and would appreciate any prayers to help me along the way. Never goodbyes always see you laters:thumb:

I’ve enjoyed listening to you and Cheese the last few years. Good luck in your future endeavors. You aren’t the only one tired of some of the BS that goes on around there. After 16 years in TC, We left last year and know many Hartsville natives that have followed. I also know two families that moved there at the beginning of the year and are already headed back out. Hartsville has become very toxic.

I think this group of kids are just soft I think Blake had to adapt his coaching style to this group. If he gets after them in practice they will quit. If he is hard on them they go home and tell their parents and then he has to deal with the parent's texts and calls.

Can't coach like that!  That is a sign of poor foundation at the start of his tenure.  Don't care if his dad is some big name or not.  No way the players and parents can control the team discipline. Just trying to make some sense.

So what you’re saying is that if he was hard on them and didn’t let his kids take a week off for fall break… there probably would’ve been more kids to quit?

Again, it sounds like a community problem rather a coaching problem… As the one poster says… I’m just keeping it real!

You are Making sense for sure.

I am saying this in GENERAL to all programs: When you allow parents to question playing time, positions, or discipline, you are asking for trouble.  Coaches should have the ultimate say. Any administrator that does not back the coach  or allows parents to verbally assault the staff OR other fans should be banned.

Hard to agree with you, but you’re spot on here!

I appreciate it, it is very discouraging to see what has happened in TC, and the worst is yet to come. I will always be thankful for growing up in TC but the community as a whole along with the football team is/has been going towards a direction I don't want any part of, it's not really a political matter, but it would be what a lot of people would call politics. People can only take so much
