Channeling ST…

Mother,

We were victorious in our battle last night with the Cougars from Copper Hill.  Private First Class Deandre Kelly performed well, while our relief sidearms did their job well enough to halt enemy pursuit. We return to battle Friday night against an angry pack of bulldogs and are ready to continue our pursuit of our march toward Finley. Word has it they have performed poorly the last several years. Time will tell.

Love,
PP

Someone needs to ask the South Pitt coaches what they want the score of this game to be. Because that is exactly what it will be. RBS with all due respect, will not provide any resistance on defense. It will not be pretty. The Pirates need to accomplish two things in this game.

1. Keep everyone healthy for when Clay County rolls in (assuming they beat Sale Creek)

2. Ration the ammunition for that dang cannon so they don't run out during the game. COVID has wreaked havoc on the supply chains and I am sure it can't be easy to get new ammo shipped in at the moment.

Congrats to RBS. Three wins and making the playoffs is a big season for them. School only has about 150 kids and football team usually around 15 players. I find it odd that this is still a high school and not merged into macon county high.

Yes Congrats on making it !!

A testament to the character of RBS athletes, as it takes character to go out and compete year in and year out. When the atmosphere of success is there, is one thing, but battling it out with your friends and neighbors when isn’t, is commendable.

Very well said!!!

Very well said. A prime example of kids playing the game they love regardless of the lack of success. I'm confident they will show up Friday and give it all they got.

    • Well personally I see us going 9-1 so that isn't doom and gloom to me , Most people are thinking 6-4. Bearden will be the possible loss but hoping not. I was very impressed with what I saw this spring.
    • the kid you are speaking about, played in JV games,  2H half Science Hill game, split time in Hardin Valley and Bearden and that was it.   The upcoming Senior RB was All Region as a Junior and is regarded by the media as one of the top running backs in East TN for 2024 season. Scouting services have him as a top 10 back in the state.  Something aint adding up with gloom and doom. Maybe he was hurt and not at spring practice when you watched?
    • It won't be long now, he gone.
    • Are you kidding me?  You are just trolling now.  The new head coach's qualifications would be volunteer coach at the Oak Ridge Boys Club?  C'mon man, you can't be serious.  You're trolling us.  Anybody working at Clinton High School has to be like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs at this point.  They are coming after anybody and everybody that had knowledge of what was going on.  This is about to get real ugly.  Only in Clinton.
    • So no way they can compete with the likes of McCallie or Baylor still then
