Seems as if westview actually got the best end of the deal losing the district championship. Huntingdon GC was a barn burner.

No doubt about that!  It is pretty clear we have a referee shortage with some of the officials that are still calling games this late in the season.  I never think officials call one way or another intentionally but we have some referees in this area that really struggle and do not need to be in big games.

That was a good game. Didn't think GC was gonna pull it out at first. Cantrell was shining bright tonight tho while Hdon held Hart with some good defense. Refs weren't so great but unfortunately I've seen worse this season. GC and WV should be a fun game to watch Wed!

Last game we played Huntingdon I thought Maya Turner with her ball handling and helping us get down the floor was big. Last night the Freshman PG didn’t score a ton but was really good in handling pressure and keeping us under control. Cantrelle was big as well.

Cantrell had a great game because the refs took our post out of the game in the 1st qt. Those drives would have never happened if Ms Kee had been on the court. I hate refs, some teams they take care of and we ain't one of them!

Summertown wins but loses their 2 post players one broken wrist ( out ) one knee ( very questionable ) sad but next man up ( even though slightly smaller ) we shall see

Summertown and Loretto both with huge wins last night. Both are always there at the end. Hate to hear that and prayers to the two girls.

One thing that has remained the same in the 4 match-ups of GC v Hunt is Key not having a big game. Credit to Wilkins and his defense for denying her the ball and boxing her out. Refs were awful both ways last night, very inconsistent.

Refs were bad. I agree. But good fundamental boxing out got Kee a couple times.  It’s tough but it is what it is. The defender was in good position to box out.  Problem is every ref calls that situation differently. Just like calling 9 fouls on Huntingdon in first quarter then 1 or 2 in second.  Never know what you gonna get.

Refs were terrible both ways. Excuses aren't a good look. Cantrell had a great game because she is a great player and took advantage of her opportunities. Don't belittle her performance with your excuses.

Count how many times Gibson County took it to the rim early and there wells no calls and probably no fouls I agree. But Gibson County kept pounding and getting the contact and the crew they had foils started to pile up. Huntingdon getting mad at some calls is warranted to a degree but they get sloppy defending a lot. #14 held Micah all night and didn’t get a call. In Murfreesboro she would have fouled out first quarter.
