How can he be eligible? Private to public. If he is kicked out he doesn't leave in good standing from his former school. Brainerd is not 20 miles from CCS. How do they swing this. Hardship. Minority hardship?

1.  I have never heard of a private school in Tennessee blocking a former student/athletes eligibility if they transfer to a public school.  They typically just say that it was mutually beneficial for both parties to part ways.

2.  If he has decent grades he could possibly transfer to IMG after Christmas.  It sounds like the young man may need to get away and be a boarding student so that he can refocus.

Ryan did it several years back when Nolensville’s star WR was on the bench behind Rector’s son.  He had to sit out 3 games and I believe that was only because Coach Derrick has Irish ties.  Now the kid has multiple P5 offers. Kids that transferred to PC were also blocked the year they were beaten by Alcoa in the state ship.

Didn’t know that Father Ryan blocked any athletes eligibility. Most of the time the kids need athletics much more than the teams need the kids.  Everyone knows that other than wrestling and mens soccer, Father Ryan has major issues within their athletic department and those two programs have old school head coaches dating back to the Elliston Place days.

Curious , is the 20 mile as the crow flies?
