The more time the injury is allowed to heal naturally before putting it under the extreme stress of competition should aid with a complete recovery.  This dual means absolutely nothing and there is no reason to risk injury in the early preseason.

Updated 145 Bout below.  As for 138 and 170, Hilton and Stacey won't be in town to defend their ranking.  The remaining top-ranked upper weights are in football season at present.
