Rumor mill is that the Doctors offices in Huntingdon have seen a wide outbreak of a rare out break of big head syndrome. From reading past reports it seems to happen every year around the same time only to quickly have no cases at all come the end of November due to all patients heads being deflated.

It's amazing Dresden has only beat us 3 times in 18 games with all the health issues over here!

You really should try harder to come up with something different.Huntingdon overall has been no more successful than Dresden. Winning a bunch of regular season games has never equaled success …..

you are wrong. You have to win a bunch of regular season games to achieve success. If you don’t, you sit at home instead of having the chance to play for a gold ball.

You guys have won a bunch of regular season games and went out in the playoffs… won one state championship and Dresden has won one. He was trying to put down Dresden the same way he does Peabody. The fact is when training starts for the next season the goal for every team is to win a state championship.  Huntingdon has won a bunch of regular season games and only one state title

What's any of that got to do with this week? Y'all got Riverside and Middle College to worry about. We got Milan this week. That's the focus. Not previous seasons.

I am pulling out all the stops for this week’s game. I am calling on the spiritual powers of my friend Jobu to put a hex on the Stanks this week!!!

You have to fire up Jobu's blunt, toking it through his nostrils,  then french inhale it.  I heard once you do this, the spirit of Jobu resides within you. Then, and only then, can the incantations be chanted.

If you start chanting the incantations before following this strict process,  well,  then you're just gonna look and sound foolish.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
