1A PC is retuning 3 starters and their 6-7th players. They should look good to return to the Glass House. 2A Gibson Co will have to be reloading. Hart was a special player 3A Dyersburg looks to return a few key pieces. Strahan will be a force 4A Bradley will be as usual, making it tough on whoever they face.

I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.

If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.

Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro

I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable. This is a terrible take. Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school. But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.

Yeah it's been quiet in here this year. I would assume it will be University High and North Greene coming out of Region 1. Region 2 looks to be wide open and you could make a case for all 4 teams to make it out this year.

I think I hit the top 4 teams in this region. Should be a fun region tournament!

I'm not sure who the middle school coach at JCS is but where has he coached other than JCS?

Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
