  1. Today
  2. Yeah same It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
  3. Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
  4. Agree. I feel for his kid and family moving every single year poor kid can’t even make friends with out leaving them
  5. How will the wildcats look in 2024? New coach at the regime with some other new additions to the staff and some leadership returning along with a core group of young players. Excited to see the wildcats this fall, after what I witnessed in the spring!
  6. I would think most private school kids are “white collar”, so if going by that, sure. Also, I wouldn’t call Farragut kids very blue collar, and they’ve had some really good ones. I do understand where Sheriff and ORC are coming from though. At the end of the day it’s really about the individual. I’ve played with some super tough kids that folks would consider having grown up in pretty prominent families.
  7. Hmmmmm doe dee doe doe. Waggoner changes jobs faster than the lawn mower will run in fifth gear. He will be out of Florida in next three years. You can bet the lawnmower on that.
  8. What jobs has that guy not had his eyes on? It seems he changes jobs like he changes underwear. He jumps around to much.
  9. Are there any good white collar high school football players in Knox County.
  10. In addition to the fight nights at Wilson Central on Mondays. Blackman HS will be hosting Fight Nights on Wednesdays at 5:30pm-7pm. All HS wrestlers are welcome to attend.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Would be right if Brooks ever called a single play. His OC calls the plays, unlike ur boy pond.
  13. Most definitely will not be Waggoner. He just accepted a job in Florida that he has had his eyes on for years.
  14. Think he would be better suited to save our baseball program. We struggle to win 5 games a year but noone wants to talk about that. Could even coach from the fence across the creek should he continue in his extra curricular activities.
  15. He probably works at the high school.
  16. I'm going to say 1) Coalfield 2) Oz 3) Rockwood 4) Greenback
  17. Mancoverage sez: This thread has been an absolute delight! Absolutely marvelous! Such eloquent and rosy prose, contained here in, is so seldom found amongst the more jocular subset of our species. The brilliant author behind such poetic use of an obviously deep and broad vernacular, reminds me of the other-worldly talents of Oscar Wilde. I humbly thank you, kind sir, for so generously sharing your elegantly loquacious gifts. The Goat sez: You better watch your back, Lord Byron, I’m sure poetry isn’t the only talent and passion that the author shares with Oscar Wilde.

  20. Cleveland has a good booster club, I would assume. Don’t believe Red Bank even has one, but at BC, it’s a mix of coaches and players on the team.
  21. A coach has been selected. She met with the team about 2 weeks ago, but am unsure why something official hasn’t been released yet. Could be waiting for spring sports to end.
  22. Well, since ol' ST is too busy to keep up with the coaching carousel this year, who is still without a coach at this point?
  23. I wouldn’t blame him a bit for finding another team.
