I picked Pearl-Cohn to get the win on my bracket contest. The Hole is a great place to watch a football game and I will definitely be back this week to watch the Owls & the Firebirds clash in a great opening round game.

Don't know a thing about Peral-Cohn this year, but, SC has taken a beating the last 2 games from supposedly inferior in-region teams (Cannon and York). If they don't step it up those boys will be going on to bball. And, as for the SC fans running their fingers, it always happens. Just don't worry about it. The fans may not be too respectful but the players were the best of sportsman the other night at JTown. Goodluck to both teams, and, as bad as I hate to say it, good luck SC. Show the rest of the state what 8-3A has got!

At the beginning of the year, I expected to see Smith County make a run in the playoffs, however, I think the last few weeks, they've slipped. Although Smith County tends to play up to the real good competition, I don't know if they can play up this high. I wish Smith Co. the best but I'm afraid they'll be into basketball before they want to.
